Enjoy the Comfort of Fall With Season & Spice Fabrics! from Art Gallery Fabrics-The Creative Blog

Season&Spice_Banner

Here’s a fun little fact for you, I write all the collection descriptions from AGF Studio collections! When I first joined the AGF family, I was so excited to start on all the ideas I had for social media, but little did I know that I would also have the responsibility to do so much writing. I was always intimidated at first by writing as I never thought I had it in me to express how I felt, but as these collections were released, I did feel something! Flipping through every print,  I always found myself in another world ...

Kismet_cover blog

Happy Friday!

You know it’s going to be a good Friday when we have another lookbook coming out back to back! We are working hard here at AGF so we can come out with the latest and greatest before the holidays, and this week we were so excited to put Sharon Holland’s Kismet lookbook together. Now I know I am not the only one feeling a certain way about this collection because I have already seen so many beautiful projects on social media with these fabrics! Without a doubt, this collection is one of my favorites! The RICH ...

Saturday's Song: Everything He Forgot. Slow Stitching: 30's Table Topper. Stash Report from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Saturday's Song:  Everything He Forgot

This song spoke to me on so many different levels…

I have sinned.
I have disappointed people.
I have hurt others.
I have…I have…I have…the list goes on and on.
If I let myself,
I can go to a
dark place of
unforgiveness and depression
over my mistakes.

But, praise God for His grace and for repentance!

A simple Google search of “God forgets our sins Scriptures”, leads to many results. One of my favorite verses is this one:

Can you imagine God – the very God we serve -
literally hurling our ...

Monday's Strength: Psalm 107, Part 1. Fall Fun with New Projects! Book Date. from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Monday’s Strength

My spirit was deeply touched when I read these beautiful Scriptures at PeaBeas’ Photos and Scribbles.  I’ve decided to do a series on them.

29He stilled the storm to a whisper;

Do you have storms in your life that need to “be stilled”?  I know I have, I still do and I will in the future.  Hence Psalm 46:10:  Be still and know He is God.  We can attain physically stillness via detachment or some other tool, but to still our minds is indeed another issue.

How does one still the mind?

At a ...

Saturday's Song: Magnify. Slow Stitching: Dish Towels. Stash Report from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Saturday’s Song:  Magnify by We Are Messengers

I was extremely excited to find this wonderful song with bilingual lyrics!  This verse is so true:

“My sight is incomplete and I made you look small
I've been staring at my problems for way too long
Realign where my hope it set
Until you're all that's left”

How much time do we - myself included - waste time looking at the problem instead of the Problem Solver?

Let this verse be our prayer:

“God be greater than the worries in my life
Be stronger than the weakness in my mind ...
